John Maruskin is a principal of Software Pricing Partners,
Inc. where he is active in helping clients identify and address
the broad range of opportunities and challenges associated with
pricing. His perspective is strategic, concentrating on the development
of price structures and packaging that facilitate the quantification
of product value, and helping clients strike an effective balance
between pricing precision and simplicity. He is often called upon
to help clients in articulating product value for use in sales and
marketing materials, and he is also active in the development and
implementation of the firms business and marketing strategies.
Before joining Software Pricing Partners, John
was involved in building businesses and brands for more than 25
years. He began his career at Leo Burnett and Ogilvy & Mather
where he worked with nationally-known clients including Procter
& Gamble, Armour Dial, and McDonalds.
He went on to found M & D Communications
Engineering, a marketing consultancy that brought the experience
and discipline of world-class consumer marketers to its business-to-business
clients.
John later founded emanem partners, a consulting
firm providing clients across a broad range of industries with strategic
direction, thought leadership, and implementation follow-through
on matters of general business strategy as well as marketing.
He holds BS in Aeronautical Engineering from
Pennsylvania State University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from
Northeastern University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
